Dr. G.C.Bhimani is working as a Professor and Head of the Department, Director of IQAC and syndicate member of the Saurashtra University. He also worked as a dean of the faculty of science, as Coordinator of UGC-NET examination, Director of Centre for Social Exclusive & Inclusion Policy, Chairman of Saurashtra University Central Admission Board (SUCAB). He has a very good understanding of the academic disciplines with 30 years of experience. He has published more than 60 research papers, 5 Books and almost 28 Ph.D. students under his guidance. He was awarded for National Merit Scholarship for higher education during the year 1984-1986, by Department of Education, Government of Gujarat. His specialization in applied statistics and Biostatistics. He is serving in this post since 1993. He has the ability to engage constructively with people, excellent communication skill, very good ambassadorial and diplomatic person and excellent delegation skill. He is promoting and representing the University both internally and externally. He visited almost all the continentionals for academia pursuit.
