            The Department of Human Rights had organized four days UGC sponsored international workshop on Human Rights & Duty Education as on Date: 22/06/2016 at Department of Human Rights, Saurashtra University

          The said workshop was inaugurated by Hon’ble Vice Chancellor of Saurashtra University, Dr. Pratapsinh Chauhan in presence of Dr. R. M. Dave, H.O.D of Department of Human Rights & IHL, Dr. B. N. Manjaria,  Dr. B. G. Maniar H.O.D. Department of Law, Dr. K. P. Joshipura, Professor, Department of Law, & Dr. A. H. Chauhan, Saurashtra University. As many as 10 women delegates from Rajkot attended the said workshop.

        The number of students participated in the said workshop as on date 22/06/2016 were 110. Dr. D. K. Raythatha, Professor of Delaware State University, Newark, Delaware, DE, and United States explained about the importance of fundamental duties in different spheres of life and society. He further elaborated the importance of Constitution of India. The resource person on the said day was Dr. Rameshbai Waghani, H.O.D. of MSW Department, Saurashtra University elaborately emphasized on human duties towards socially deprived people and its importance in society. Dr. R. M. Dave explained the importance and role of fundamental duties as an immense need of an hour.
