            The Department of Human Rights had organized four days UGC sponsored national level workshop on Human Rights & Duties Education from 09/07/2016                                   at D. D. Kotiyawala Municipal Law College, Chhaya, Porbandar.

          The said workshop was inaugurated by Hon’ble Bhanuprakash Swamiji on 09/07/2016 in presence of Dr. R. M. Dave, H.O.D. of the Department of Human Rights & IHL, Dr. B. G. Maniar H.O.D. Department of Law, Saurashtara University, Dr. B. H. Pandya, Principal, D. D. Kotiyawala Municipal Law College, Chhaya, Porbandar, Dr. Sanjay Maniar, Dean Faculty of Law, Veer Narmad University, Surat and the hon’ble President of Nagar Palika, Chhaya, Porbandar. As many as 10 women delegates from Rajkot attended the said workshop.

        The number of students participated in the said workshop as on date 09/07/2016 were 143. The resource person on the said day was Bhanuprakash Swamiji. He explained about the importance of human duties and its place in Indian religion and culture. Dr. Bhavnaben Joshipura elaborated the duties of the citizens of India and their importance in strengthening Human Rights. Dr. B. H. Pandya, Principal, D. D. Kotiyawala Municipal Law College, Chhaya, Porbandar, elaborately explained the role of human duties of legal professionals towards their clients and the society. Dr. Sanjay Maniar, Dean Faculty of Law, Veer Narmad University, Surat explained the importance of human duties in human life and Indian culture. Dr. R. M. Dave explained the importance and role of human duties in social stability and solidarity.
