            The Department of Human Rights had organized four days UGC sponsored international workshop on Human Rights & Duty Education as on
Date: 21/06/2016 at Department of Human Rights, Saurashtra University.

          The said workshop was inaugurated by Hon’ble Vice Chancellor of Saurashtra University, Dr. Pratapsinh Chauhan in presence of Dr. R. M. Dave, HOD Department of Human Rights & IHL, Dr. B. N. Manjaria,  Dr. B. G. Maniar H.O.D. Department of Law, Dr. K. P. Joshipura, Professor, Department of Law, & Dr. A. H. Chauhan, Saurashtra University. As many as 10 women delegates from Rajkot attended the said workshop.

        The number of students participated in the said workshop as on date 21/06/2016 were 140. The resource person on the said day was Dr. D. K. Raythatha, Professor of Delaware State University, Newark, Delaware, DE, and United States. He explained about the importance of fundamental duties. He further elaborated the importance of Constitution of India regarding Fundamental Duties of Citizens and its role in sustaining Human Rights. Dr. Nilambari Dave, H.O.D. of Home Science Department, Saurashtra University elaborately emphasized on human duties towards children and its importance in society. Dr. Professor Molia Sir of education department elaborated the duties of the citizens of India and their importance in Human lives, society and the nation.
