'Surkshita app awareness and self defence training' was arranged on  22nd of January 2020, Wednesday at Saurashtra University Senate Hall.The program was specially arranged for the students of Girls Hostel. The program was inaugurated by the Dr Nitin Pethani sir(V C Sir Saurashtra University). We thank Manoharsinh Jadeja sir(DCP Rajkot city),P K Dihorasir (ACP)  and R K Thakar sir (PI Gandhigram police office) for giving the program their coordination and litting up the event by their presence. Dr Vijay Desani sir (PVC Sir Saurashtra University) gave us a path forward to the event. The program took place to aware the girls about the Surakshita app launched by Manoj Aggarwal sir (Rajkot city Police comissioner) and covey one basic session on how to be able to defend yourself. Dr Rekhaba Jadeja (PG Girls hostel rector) also gave us a quick view on the importance and benefits of Surakshita app. Girls downloaded the Surakshita app right at that moment, they found the session very helpful and are very thankful to the authorities, ccordinators and prefects.
