Saddbhavna Old Age Home, Rajkot.

            An innovative project was conducted as part of the curriculum to the students of M.S.W.Sem.II studying in Department of Social Work. Pursuant to which the students were taken to Saddbhavna Old Age Home - Pipaliya Bhawan, Gondal Road, Rajkot on March 01, 2023. Shri Hiralben Rawal and Shri Chandniben Islania went with the student of Department of Social Work. First of all information was given about the old age home by Shri Pratikshaben and later the old age home was visited.

          After visiting, it was found that there are 135 elderly people here and they are all sick and bedridden. So the students of M.S.W.Sem.II went to the rooms of all the elders to pay respects and took their blessings by offering tilak and rose flowers. Meanwhile, a unique happiness was seen on the faces of the elders. Later, food was also served to the elders by the students and then the students also had lunch there.

          After the meal, the students went to the elders' room and talked to them. The elders got to hear the stories of the students and were satisfied. Later the students played different games in the old age home.

       Finally, the students gave gifts as per the requirement of the elderly there and for this service all the students were also given a certificate by the Old Age Home. . Finally we thanked him and took leave saying he will remember us when needed.
